PANCAKE PARTY: Our end of year class party will be on Thursday, June 4, from 7:45-8:45am. I hope you can join us as we celebrate the end of our fourth grade year. We need a few more items to make our party complete. Remember to sign in at the office so you can pick up your visitors pass before coming to the classroom. Child care will not be provided due to class parties being held at different times through out the day. Party Volunteer Signup
READ, READ, READ: So much has been accomplished this school year, and it is really important that you assist your child by continuing to practice fourth grade skills throughout the summer. Curling up with a wonderful book is a great idea! Be sure and ask your child comprehension questions about the book they are reading. Research shows that if a child does not revisit skills frequently during the summer months, a decline is usually noted. In addition, IXL will be available during the summer months, too. Please keep those math skills sharp.
THANK YOU: Thank you to the parents who volunteered for Robolab. Students had a simply fantastic time making and battling their scorpions.
TEXAS CRITTER PROJECT: Students need a profile picture of their chosen Texas critter by Monday. Examples were shown in class.
MEDICATIONS: Please stop by the nurse's office to pick up any meds that you dropped off for your child this year.
Thank you for all you have done to support your child and the children of our classroom. You are amazing families!
