What a beautiful day to walk to school for Earth Day. I appreciate those students who woke up a few minutes early to join us.
Thank you for an amazing week! I enjoyed all my thoughtful cards and notes, the delicious cookies, generous gifts and special books for our classroom. You all sure know how to make a teacher feel very special and appreciated!
Thank you to the 3rd grade PTA parents for the delicious lunch today. I always enjoy the PTA Friday Feasts!
For an upcoming activity, we are asking that each child bring in a heavy, white poster board (28 inches by 22 inches) by Monday April 25. You won’t you believe what we have in store for you at our fourth grade Showcase.
Field day is next Friday, May 29th. Our class will be outside from 1-2:30, so students will be having a lot of fun in the afternoon sun! T-shirts, shorts and tennis shoes are the best choice for students to wear on this active day. If you feel as though your child needs to wear sunscreen, please apply at home before coming to school.
We will celebrate Texas Day on May 4th from 8:30-11:30. The fourth grade teachers are looking for 4-5 parent volunteers to help with the variety of activities. If you are interested, please email
Mrs. Blaschke at [email protected] .
