We have had another great week in fourth grade. The flu has not invaded our classroom, and we remain vigilant! Also, let me introduce our newest class member....Poseidon! Thank you to Anna for providing the fish tank.
Education Galaxy: Students will be switching to the reading portion of Education Galaxy instead of math for homework next week. All students will take the pre-test on Monday. They will follow the same directions as the math to find their unique learning path for reading. Of course, students can also work on math!
Valentine's Day: Students can bring their Valentine cards and decorated box starting on Monday. Please be sure each card is addressed to individual students.
Night Writes: February Night Writes have been explained and are due on February 26. Students should consult my notes for improvement. Writing a well written expository composition is a skill that will serve your child well in the future. Thank you for your support on this.
Bob Bullock Museum Field Trip: Our trip to the museum is March 1st. This is the only field trip that chaperones are necessary. Thank you to Ms. Hennessy, Ms. Temple, and Mr. Saini for volunteering. I still need at least two more parents to volunteer. Chaperones will need to purchase their tickets and provide their own transportation. If you are interested, please let me know, and I will send more information. Thank you for your consideration.
