Spring break flew by, and we are getting down to the wire for STAAR Writing (April 9th). We have wrapped up both our nonfiction text structure study, our expository essay in language arts, and we have completed several activities in science all while learning about animal and plant adaptations. Thank you for allowing your child to measure your height for the Measurement Project too! We have worked hard and are looking forward to Cruise Write Along week next week!
CRUISE WRITE ALONG We have a fun week planned for the students. In order to make this a memorable experience, our classroom has been transformed into a cruise ship and beach theme. Thank you to Ms. Covin, Ms. Farhtaziz, Ms. Yoes, Ms. Garcia, and Ms. Tiongson for helping to decorate. The room looks FANTASTIC! Students may bring beach towels, low sitting beach chairs, and inflated floats on Monday, April 1st (no fooling) to use while participating in our ship’s activities. Please make sure everything is labeled so that it may be returned to the rightful owner. Our room moms have provided Cabana snacks for the week, but students are welcome to bring their own snacks from home. It's going to be fun!
Each day will be a theme dress up day.
