Wow! Another week in the books! Our class has mastered area and perimeter, and we are enjoying our Newbery books. Students have been inspired by the authors Amy Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld to write their own version of the OK Book. Lastly, we have learned about life cycles of plants and animals.
4th Grade Showcase: Please mark your calendars for May 17th. Our Showcase will begin at 7:20 am and end at 7:45 am. Students will lead this activity. Please purchase a stiff, white 22 X 28 poster board (not foam board) by April 27 for a Showcase project. Thank you!
Volunteer Luncheon: Mark your calendars for the CCE Volunteer Breakfast on May 7th from 7:15-8:00 am. If you have volunteered at CCE this school year, please join the fourth grade teachers for breakfast on us!
Chili Cook-off: Please look for the blue sheet in Tuesday's folder explaining your child's responsibilities. A chili recipe from home is due on April 27. Yee Haw!
