We've enjoyed another week of learning! We spent a lot of time in the library with Mrs. Bamford refining our skills with the ipads to support our learning of nonfiction text features. A huge thank you also to the parents for providing lunch for all the staff at our Friday Feast. It was delicious as always and such a treat! Thank you.
In math this week, we began learning how to measure angles by using a protractor. This is a new skill for many students and takes a lot of practice to master. If you have an opportunity, spending some time practicing would be helpful. I was able to check in with the students in the process, but some additional practice would benefit them. There is also a measuring angles game on our class links page that is helpful.
CONFERENCES:
Thank you for setting aside some time to come in and meet one on one about your child. It does take us all working together for sure! Please know I have many conferences to complete each day. I will have to respect all parents' time and will not be able to go past the 20 mins. If your conference is scheduled for in the morning at 7:00am, I will meet you at the front doors by the office at 6:55 to let you in. If you don't remember the time you reserved, please contact me.
