It was nice to see so many of you at the Thanksgiving lunch. We are so blessed at CCES. I wish you safe travels and a Happy Thanksgiving. Time with family and friends should be cherished.
Due November 30th:
1. Memorized Mentor Poem with expression.
2. Night Write in the Night Write Composition book. The
final copy paper should be placed in the composition
book after the revised and edited rough draft.
3. Biography Notes Early Years, and
Occupation/Education completed. Sources should be
notated on the back (at least 3 sources). Sources can be 2
books and 1 internet source, or 1 book and 2 internet
sources.
We will have spelling next week : Lesson 7 . Also, IXL practice will resume. Students should continue to read about their chosen person of study for their biography research paper so they have ample information for their report.
CRAZY SOCK DAY IS NOVEMBER 30TH
The window for TAG referrals opened on Monday, November 16th and closes on Tuesday, December 8th. The paperwork can be found on the district gifted and advanced academic services webpage.
4th graders are responsible for bringing books for their reading buddies on Friday, December 4th.
Units of Study:
Math- Multiplying 4 Digit Numbers by 1 Digit
Language Arts- using research to write an expository composition on a biographical figure.
Science- Patterns on Earth ( tides, seasons, shadows, moon phases )
