What another wonderful week of learning! These days seem to just be flying by! Our winter break is only days away. The Holiday Party will be held on Thursday, December 18th at 1:45. I would love to see all of you here. Please remember that, as per district policy, younger siblings will not be allowed at the party, however Mary Anne Hettenhaus has a note on the CCE page about child care being provided. Please contact her if you need to make these arrangements.
ROBOLAB: What a wonderful learning day we had today! Thank you to Ms. Wada and to the fantastic parents who helped make our bots.
LONG DIVISION:
This week we have begun the process for learning long division. It is very apparent those students who are still not confident in their multiplication facts since the two skills are dependent upon one another. Please take time over the holidays to make sure your child is fluid in their multiplication facts. Also, working some division problems and spending some time on IXL is encouraged. Thank you for all of your assistance in this partnership!
NIGHT WRITES:
The December Night Writes are due back next week, Thursday, December 18th. If your child completes their composition before Thursday, please feel free to send them in early. Many parents were asking for extra practice with writing. I would encourage you to look back at past prompts that your child has not completed and use those as a resource. Thank you for all you do!
